Guest guest
I have Hashimotos and I am on Armour. The Doctor has me working my way up on my dosage, every 2 weeks I call and let them know how I feel ( I feel tired). I was told I need to take a multi vitamin with out Iron in it. I have heard though that if you are tired that you might need more iron in your diet. But my sister also Hypo was told to stay away from vitamin with iron. She didn't know why. Anyone here? Guest guest
Increasing that much every two weeks isnt' the greatest way to go.... it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the T4 to build up in your tissues and show it's full effect.... The T3 is used up right away, then you are relying on the conversion of the T4 in your tissues to T3..... so there is a lag time of over a month before you will realize what a dosage change will accomplish. Post your labs, and ranges, when you get them... okay?
