Guest guest
Quick coding question. What is the most appropriate CPT code to bill when wrapping an extremity for lymphedema. Our LCD is clear that manual therapy is the appropriate code to use when performing manual drainage, but want to make sure we are using the best for the actual wrapping time. Also, on another note, I have often heard that for a Medicare beneficiary, they cannot go to two different PT providers at the same time. I was just informed of a patient we are seeing for PT who is also going to another PT provider for a completely different issue (the patient just informed us of this after being seen here for a number of visits). Is one of us not getting paid? If there is a reference to this " reg. " , could someone please refer me to it? Thanks Mike Hampton, PT Outpatient Therapy Manager St. ph Hospital ------------------------------------------------------------____________________\ _______________________________________ This message is intended solely for the use of the individual and entity to whom it is addressed, and may contain information that is privileged, confidential, and exempt from disclosure under applicable state and federal laws.
