Guest guest Posted April 20, 2002 Report Share Posted April 20, 2002 Four days after the 3rd Lupron shot, I'm bleeding again-gushing and clots. My gyn said the Lupron is probably not working for me and that after the 3rd injection if I'm still bleeding, she still recommends a hysterectomy. Well, here I am. I've posted here during my first 2 shots. Have 2 submucosal fibroids-6cm and 8cm. I've been seeing this gyn for 3 months now-she was recommended by my primary care dr. I took all my records with my to her-ultrasounds, blood work, reports. On my initial visit, the gyn suggested Hysterectomy, Lupron and UFE. I decided on the Lupron since I did not want a Hys and I wanted to research the UFE. Recently a friend recommended a Reproductive Endocrinologist in my area. I spoke with the office and have set up an appointment. This R.E. specializes in fibroids. Althought I'm 44 and don't plan on any more children, I've been told this R.E. works with those not interested in conceiving. I'm looking forward to another opinion.
