Well, Marcus, thanks much for the very interesting story of Dead Man's Beach.

If there's one skeleton, there are no doubt more. When you are out there

swimming, beware of boot clad men with white skinny legs.

Rosemary, your snorkeling feat sounds like fun. I am not a great swimmer but

I know enough keep myself alive and I love the water. With NF2 and the

equilibrium problems I have been told by doctors that I should stay out of

the water. Poor guys don't know me very well, do they? Since I love water

I'd rather get in it and be careful than sit on shore wishing I did not have

the equilibrium problems. Unlike you I don't need much sun protection. I am

Irish, English, Indian (east) and Portuguese. All this means is that I tan

well and fade in the winter....

By the way, Marcus, back in 85' when I was in Cairns, I heard that a woman

was killed by an alligator, the first that had occurred in a very long time.

I believe she was the person that ran the butterfly sanctuary or whatever it

is called in that area. It was odd too since there had been some discussion

not long before that saying that no one had been attacked/killed by an

alligator in years. This ought to help with your anti turism campaign!
