Guest guest
DHEA can make your body go toward more lean muscle mass and increase energy production or energy demands. If you are low, it can be helpful as it is the base material of many hormones. It can improve mood. also. At the same time, increasing energy demands on a body that doesn't have enough thyroid or that has adrenal fatigue and other problems can make DHEA tire you out more. There is a scientific truism called " Liebig's Law of the Minimum " in which the total gains you can get from doing something are limited by the thing that is functioning at the lowest level. In other words, you can't fill up a bucket that has a hole in it causing you to loose as much of or more of what are putting in. Everything else in the body has to be working up the level of the requirements of the DHEA you are adding in order to get benifits. Just my opinion here.
