Dang! what a day this has been! It started out GREAT - I went to Barbara Theisen's chapter to do my "Mellie Pearl" program and had a blast - LOL had a bit of a surprise tho....I had told Barbara that when she was ready for me to start the CD player with my music and i would come in - I'm standing out in the hall waiting to hear the music start and she comes to the door and asks me if I'm ready - I tell her yep and wait for the music....BUT IT NEVER STARTS!! Instead everyone started singing "Happy Birthday" ROFLOL - kinda put a crimp in my entrance - but what a surprise!! THEN one of the men there sang me a beautiful song in spanish! Not a clue what he said, but it was so beautiful and i was so touched that I got all teary-eyed

Then went from there to the Olive Garden where my step-mommy treated me to lunch and the waiters came and put a white "shower cap" on my head and sang their version of "happy birthday" ROFL - Olive Garden had always been a tradition for my sister-in-law and I.....but NEVER have i ever had the shower cap thing! ROFL what a hoot!

then it went down hill from there LOL - I swear! I drove all over San trying to find ONE stupid item that I need to kick off our new contest tomorrow night and was getting so frustrated! I finally had to go back to the original plan and improvise.....ugh! The whole day was GONE by the time I got back home! Now, here it is almost 10pm and I'm tryin to get these stats figured out and in between getting all the last minute contest stuff finished for tomorrow night's BIG announcement LOL.....my chapter is gonna freak! (I promise to let ya'll in on it tomorrow too LOL)

OK.....back to work - break time/whine time is over
