Guest guest
Hi Gwynne, Thanks for the info on your eye. I am getting it checked out this week and along with it having a bone scan as I have been having some hip pain also. Do you take fosomax or boniva? Any problems with them? I have been taking Vitamin D and calcium but I hate to keep adding more drugs to the steroids and prilosec and haven't been taking the fosomax. Maybe all these weird symptoms are a wake up call that I need to start obeying my doctor and taking my meds correctly! God bless you-Gwynne Keyland wrote: Judy, I'm in the early stages of osteoporosis in my right hip, and sometimes I have some discomfort if I sleep too long on that side. I can't even imagine - yet- what kind of pain you're in. Well, actually, maybe my 1999 broken femur could give me a pretty good clue. I know the docs always say there's a whole different aspect to bone pain that makes it worse than almost anything else. Anyway, we'll be anxious to see what happens as a result of your injections and MRI. I'll be glad to get the information, when you feel better, that you'd like to pass along to tx wait-listed people like me. Hang in there, Judy. You're an inspiration to me. Joyce, I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!! One portable??!?????!!!?!?!?!? What a load of crap. I don't suppose the Caring Voice Coalition could round up another one somehow for you??? R.- I too am having such pangs about not being able to join the gang in Chattanooga! It's another low blow, but one that will be eased by seeing the photos of these goofballs when they get back home. Years ago, when I was under terrific stress, in a bad marriage, and in the midst of a move, I lost the sight in my right eye several times, the longest for about half an hour. I went to an optic neurologist who diagnosed me with retinal migraine. Just like regular migraine, except the blood vessels constrict in the retina instead of in the temples. I think this is rare though, and it hasn't happened in 25 years. (I'm definitely also a member of the Quirky Symptoms & Conditions Club.) I hope you will see several doctors for the scary things going on with you now. They are things that I hope you'll get some clear answers on very soon. , Thanks for the information. It helps to read that again! I hope you have a blast on vacation. I love the word "grandbubbies"! - never heard that before.
