Guest guest
Hi.. I have been reading on your board for awhile. I am 61 years old, live in NW. Ark, and had a mastectemy on July 16th..I had 11 lymph nodes removed .. 8 with cancer.. I just had a pet scan yesterday. To be honest, I am scared to death.. I have a rare genetic liver disease also, where the liver doesn't drain properly. I met with the oncologist assigned to me last week , and go to see him tomorrow. I am so scared to know if this cancer has spread. I am having trouble with my right arm, and going for therapy for lymphodema.. I will have to have chemo and radiation. I was wondering if anyone here has had liver problems , and on chemo, also for breast cancer? It's nice to read where others are battling this beast, and making do.Although I wish no one had to go through it. This is all so new to me, and I am just plain frightened. I have a son 38 and daughter 34. Also have four grandchildren.. My husband has been very supportive in being here for me. God bless us all with this disease. Have a nice evening.
