Guest guest Posted October 6, 2004 Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 Topper, , anybody.... i have Hashi's, i go to the Dr. for my second visit Friday. right now i'm so stressed i can't even think straight. I think i may have adreanal problems. the past couple days my mood seems to have spiraled downward, and now i don't want to even get out of bed, i'm either in tears, frustrated, or zoned out. i'm a stay at home mom with a 1 year old so obviously zoning out is not good. I don't know what to do, I feel completly unprepared for my appointment, i'm at my wits end and need all the help/support i can get. thank you all in advance for everything. I know you said Hashi's, but could you give some more details about all of it? What are you taking? How much? Lab results? When did you start thyroid meds? Noone is even allowed to prescribe it at this point, not in the U.S. anyway. Are you in the U.S., BTW? Anyway, please get rid of it immediately and call the doctor to inform that you're doing so. And try to get them to either fax copies of your labs, or go by and pick them up. Your labs belong to you, and they should give you a copy as a courtesy, but will sometimes only do so at your insistence. Re: help me please I first went to the Dr. 8/10/04 for a new patient visit (the only Dr. I've had for the past 4 years has been my OB/GYN). While he was doing my physical he noticed that I had a goiter and so he did some bloodwork. I don't know any of my levels because I never thought to ask. He said I was Hypo, tested for Hashi's, said I had it and I said okay. Here's a list of the meds I'm on: (I don't know all the dosages - some were samples) Levoxxyl 25mg (I think, it's half of one of the white bowtie shape pills) Imipramine 50mg (neurologist gave my this to help me sleep better) Vioxx 1 a day Effexor 150mg Ortho Micronor 1 a day Claritin 1 a day Aleve 2 a day Relpax as needed for migrains That's about where I am right now.
