Re: question about endometrial biopsy

I finally saw an ob/gyn for my 11.6 cm fibroid, and am considering either a

UFE or a lap. myo. My doc says (if I go with him for the lap myo) he wants

to do an endometrial biopsy just to make sure the endometrius is healthy.

Though brief, this is painful. Also, my insurance co. doesn't cover much. Is

it the experience of this group that this is done before a myo? Meanwhile,

he's been ordering lots of other tests (including yet another--my

3rd--pelvic ultrasound--even though he did one in his office, and a renal

ultrasound) and I wonder if he's test-happy.
