Guest guest
~~~ So glad you're back with us ~~~ even if only temporarily !!! Thank God your daughter is doing so well !!! And may God give you the strength to keep up with that darlin' 2 yr. old !!!! My little niece -- who is now 3 -- wears us out when we keep her -- and there are TWO of us !!! We love doing it though -- as I'm sure you do too !!!! Hugs, Randie Re: Checking in on you Melody and all, I am home now for a couple of days. My daughter is doing fantastic. In fact she was going into work for a meeting today. When the legislature is in session she really needs to be in those meetings. I think she is pushing it but she says she is fine, all she will do is sit and write stuff. I will go back up this weekend to help her with Zacks birthday party. She has a little boy, my grand daughter is in Germany. As for me, I AM SO TIRED. Zack may only be turning 2 but those little feet are never still. I'm not use to being around boys but do they all climb? He'd rather climb over something instead of walking around it. If he isn't climbing he is running. He has himself one big ole' black eye from falling while he was running. I just don't remember my little doing all that climbing. My bed is gonna feel so good tonight and I'm gonna be in it in a few short minutes. Guest guest
, We're so happy to hear from you! I'm glad everyone is doing well. I don't know about all little boys, but when mine was that age he was always climbing. I was constantly looking for the suction cups I just *knew* he had to have on his hands and feet. I think that kid could climb up a straight wall! Oh boy, I had to watch him every second. He was very talented with tools at that age, too. When he was 2 he picked the lock on the storage shed (I don't know how), opened a bottle of liquid Sevin dust that had a " child-proof " lid on it and tried to drink it! I caught him just before he did. Thankfully. He was constantly getting his Daddy's tools and screwdrivers and removing the screws from the lower kitchen cabinet doors, then carefully placing the doors back on as if they were still screwed in. Talk about fun opening those doors! No wonder my hair is white. I'm just so glad to have you back even for just a couple of days. Rest up while you can. Guest guest
I know what you mean about the 2 yr old, My grandson and his wife and their 19 month old is staying here with me until they have closing on the house and she is about to get me down. they both work and I have her all day and let me tell you I am about to lose it. I love her to pieces but darn if she doesn't find something to get into all the time. I am constantly chasing her and never get any house work done or anything else for that matter, you would think I would be skinny as a rail chasing her but I'm not. And I stay tired all the time, now you know why God gave the young ones children. When they leave will have to take a vacation to rest up. Just to sit for more than 10 minutes in chair would be nice. Glad to hear your daughter is doing well. Hugs, Jackie -- Re: Checking in on you Melody and all, I am home now for a couple of days. My daughter is doing fantastic. Guest guest
Hey, Jackie - - you may have a really good loss this week too, after chasing your granddaughter around all week!! I'm not chasing a grandchild, but I have been doing a new "Walking/Exercise" tape (which is a 2 mile walk) and my body is telling me that I'm using muscles that haven't been used in a very long time!! It's unbelievable that my muscles are sore since I am used to walking two miles every day, but this tape has you doing very different moves from just straight walking, so I think it is going to be very good. And it also has me moving at a faster pace than my usual walk. ((((HUGS))) Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
Clara I am hoping but my scales don't show much, I haven't ate the right foods either this week, not bad but not enough either. I have the Sasone tapes also, and just bought her one with the slanted board but haven't used it yet. Guest guest
LOL, Jackie. I know what you mean about God giving the little ones to the young! I keep my 5 year old granddaughter on school days. By Friday afternoon I am worn out. But by 10AM Saturday I am missing her like nobody's business! Speaking of which, she and I just came inside from swinging in the front yard. Remember I told y'all about the " redneck " swings dh hung in the front yard? Well, we are really enjoying those. She still has her cough, but was well enough to go outside for a few minutes of swinging. Well, and Jackie, just enjoy those little ones while you can.
