Guest guest
I am now overweight about 20 pounds. I gained it over the last year. Two years ago, during an especially stressful year, I lost over 30 pounds in one year-without dieting. No-I was not sick-just very busy opening and working in a new business. I have been struggling with fibroid tumours for about eight years and it is my experience that they grew about the same rate thoughout the years; both when I was at normal weight and when I am overweight. Every person is different. But I must say, I look alot sicker and my abdomen is much more out of proportion when I am thin than at my current weight. When I am " overweight " but not necessarily obese, the size of my abdomen seems to be in better proportion to the rest of my body. I also feel better, probably because my diet has improved. I really look pregnant when I am thin and it is nearly impossible to find clothes that fit. When I was thinner, my diet was lacking in key nutrients which made me even more tired and made my anemic condition worse. I hope this doesn't confuse the issue, but I did make diet changes in response to things I read and advice from others- but did not see any difference in the rate my fibroids grew and the diet changes did not shrink the fibroids.
