Guest guest Posted October 2, 2004 Report Share Posted October 2, 2004 Hi, Here's my " me " time activities: Crossword puzzles/comics on a sunday morning Reading (Its almost addictive) Browsing through bookstores Window shopping for kitchen stuff (I love all the new gadgets but dont have any...someday.... ) Cooking when I have the energy to Browsing for recipes (what intrigues me are old recipes that I read about in books based in earlier periods...I look for them online and try them out....it sounds crazy but...) Running (when I have the energy to) Swimming Getting my hair cut (I have this awesome hairdresser who takes 2 hrs to cut my hair...nothing fancy just a regular haircut but she massages my scalp during the shampoo(heaven)...and she doesnt charge the earth and the moon for it...(no guilt) ). take care, Arthy. I've got a couple of oldies here that are so ancient that the covers are falling off... one refers to ration stamps and has a list of substitutes when you don't have stamps for the ingredients... those are fun to page through and I've found some good recipes in there too....
