It is itself very similar, chemically, to Leutenizing hormone and ultimately lowers both estrogen and progesterone because it is a hormone imposter. So, forgive me everyone. For some reason, I had the notion that it raised progesterone, but it just basically disrupts the whole hormone cycle. It has some nasty side effects.
