It has been effective for slowing down heavy bleeding for me as well as taking away ALL menstrual and pre-menstrual symptoms. Guest guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Share Posted May 8, 2002 I'm 49 and have been using it for about 2-1/2 years. I started at about the time I had my fibroids removed. I've had equally good luck with it controling night sweats, improving my sleep, and in my case regulating things. I don't have heavy bleeding.
