Guest guest
I'm still not quite sure why you feel you need to be in such tight control before pregnancy. During pregnancy, regardless of how well you were able to control the diabetes before, you will need insulin to keep it under control during the pregnancy. I was diagnosed with diabetes before my last pregnancy and never got it under control at all until I was actually pregnant and then had to use insulin to keep it under control. I delivered a healthy 8.6 pound baby boy who will be 4 years old next month. Roxanne > It is bad, too me, because I want to have another child and tight > control is a priority before conception. As far as I am concerned I > MUST be at non diabetic numbers before I attempt to conceive. Since I > am 32, I am anxious to get the ball rolling. My goal is a fasting of > 4.4, my bg at the time of my first prenatal appointment with my son..
