Guest guest
Below is a link to an article about zinc and the common cold. It involved a 3-year girl with leukemia. I had heard this story in the early 1990's and was so impressed, I started sucking on zinc lozenges every two hours myself if I starting having cold symptoms. I want to stress that I have to start sucking on them at the FIRST sign of a cold, which for me seems to occur in the late afternoon. I suck on one every two hours...and most importantly, when I go to bed, so it coats my throat while I sleep. All traces of the cold are GONE the next morning. I haven't had a cold in FIVE YEARS so far!! THAT is a miracle for me. Janie http://www.coldcure.com/html/insite.html p.s. I find that the lozenges that are like hard chalk (or like sweet tarts) are better than the ones that are like clear hard candy. Just a subjective experience.
