Guest guest
I am having the same exact problem. Had my mastectomy on Sept. 2 and they removed the drain tube on Sept. 14. My " extra breast " under my left arm has not shrunk down at all and is hard as a rock, with some hard lumps underneath, I think. It softer on top like there is fluid there. I talked to a doctor on line who said this could be a seroma, is common, and is NOT normal and does need attention. You should probably call your surgeon's office, to probably have it aspirated, but sometimes it needs another drain tube. Janie Thank you for asking......Im doing much better...I got my drain out this am and feeling like I've been released from house arrest...LOL > How are you doing ? and Im happy you enjoyed it.... > Hugs > Judy > >

My "extra breast" under my left arm has not shrunk down at all and is hard as a rock, with some hard lumps underneath, I think. It softer on top like there is fluid there. I talked to a doctor on line who said this could be a seroma, is common, and is NOT normal and does need attention. You should probably call your surgeon's office, to probably have it aspirated, but sometimes it needs another drain tube.Janie Thank you for asking......Im doing much better...I got my drain out this am and feeling like I've been released from house arrest...LOL> How are you doing ? and Im happy you enjoyed it....> Hugs > Judy > >
