Getting enough sleep-------------still a big issue with me.Sigh.......

As well as NOT skipping meals........

Maybe I am doing good with Me Time?Naaaahhhhh-- can't say no, I need my Me time.

Thanks Pard for keeping(or trying to)me on the straight and narrow!

MUCH OF THE PAIN THAT I AM EXPERIENCING NOW IS THE SAME AS WHEN I WAS LOW ON MEDS AND NOT SLEEPING PROPERLY!!!!

We have to make it a number one priority to get our bodies the rest that they need. Don't slip out on sleep gang!! Get the rest that you need WHEN YOU NEED IT!!!

Because of past sleep issues, and, once in awhile current ones, and the disease to boot, sleep is a TOP priority for me. I have learned this the hard way. It is a part of my me time, at times. This is what makes me feel better, but not much sleep literally makes me sick. And it can't be how much sleep everyone else advises. I have read some doctors recommending anywhere from 6 hrs sleep, on up to 8 to 9 hrs. Some people feel guilty or think they are being lazy if they sleep 8 to 9 hrs. That is a state of mind because, if you think about it, mankind was meant to go to sleep when the sun goes down, then rise when it comes up in the morning. Now, I am a night worker, so I don't fit the time frame, BUT when I sleep, I DO fit the length of sleep. Think about it----Let's say that the sun goes down at 8 to 8:30 p.m. and rises at 6 to 6:30 a.m. That's over 9 hrs sleep. Before the advent of the light bulb or candles, you can bet that people went to sleep because they could accomplish exactly nothing in the dark, and could only begin their daily routines with the first streams of sunlight in the morning, so our bodies must have been intended to get all this sleep, so that we could go into repair mode and feel refreshed for the next day. To put it bluntly, WE'RE the ones who changed "the rules", not the natural laws that run this universe the way it was intended to be run, and that includes our sleep pattern. We have royally foulded up the machine. Let today's worries be sufficient for today, Do not let the sun go down on your anger (I know that this was referring to a man and woman, but it also applies here). When a person goes to bed, everything else should be left in another room or thrown out with the bath water, depending on it's importance. There is not one thing that can be changed lying in our beds, so we may as well enjoy sleeping. It's wonderful, during it's time!!
