Please read - all members - new moderator

Hello again,

We have a problem getting a new moderator. Only 2 people answered my email and

suggested a new moderator. The problem is that I have not been active in the

group for about 2 years and I don't have the time to moderate as when it

started. So you people who are active in the group please talk to each other and

see if you can agree in a person that you think could overtake the job. Barb did

a great job moderading the group. When asked if she would do the job for the

group she immediately said yes. Hope that there are someone in the group that

can take a period as a moderator for the group. Hope that the good spirit in

which we started the group (remember we were refugees from the big group -

refugees from spirit of arguing and flaming - that's why the group were

started). Hope that this spirit can be maintained. To do that it's necessary to

have a new moderator. Please talk to each other - then inform me. It would be

sad if this group continued unmoderated as a ship without a mate.

I'm new to the list and I haven't got my own bs's under control yet

and while I was diagnosed almost 5 years ago, I am really only now

starting to deal with my diabetes.

I'm a home daycare provider, so I'm home every day and I'm able to

get on the computer several times a day, so I would be willing to

moderate this list if nobody more experienced and knowledgable steps

up to take this position. Moderating this list would give me a

little more incentive and motivation to keep up with managing my own

diabetes.

I have never moderated any list before, but I am willing to learn.

If someone who has been on this list longer were to volunteer, that

would be more ideal, of course, but if that doesn't happen, I'm

willing to take the position. Roxanne
