Guest guest
Ladies, I haven't posted for a while now, just waiting for the Lupron kick in. Two weeks after my 3rd Lupron injection, I finally stopped bleeding!!! I had true concerns because I have read her and been told by the nurses that ususally the bleeding stops after the first injection, sometimes the second. So, I got the 3rd, two week later stopped bleeding and Thursday I got the 4th injection. So far no bleeding. Have any of you had this experience? My gyn wants me to get the 6 month treatment with the Lupron. Also, how long after your course of the Lupron injections did your periods return? Guest guest
You may want to have the bone density checked after your 3rd injection before you proceed with another one. Lupron does cause bone loss and is not reversable. There is printed matter in Physicians Desk Reference that states it should be checked on page 3141. I had the injections and bone loss because my physician did not follow through as he should.Good luck.
