Guest guest
Oh it is ....it is just for this reason.........we dont know all of the answers......there are never any dumb questions...... I would have thought the very same thing about iron..except I make toooooooo much blood....so I knew that wouldnt be for me..... Oh dont be hurt...... I really feel.........some of us are extra sensitive...myself included....it is such a horrible time for all of us..... Big hug Judy -- Re: decision Dear Lucilla, I don't know, which is why I asked Sharon to check with her oncologist. After I had read that, I threw out spinach and multi-vitamins with iron I had just bought. I thought it would make sense before starting chemo to increase my iron..maybe it would help my blood levels. I was shocked when I read it. My oncologist has the same book in his office and now I will have to ask him why when I see him next week. It's really a shame. My objective here wasn't to "offend" you, which obviously I did by your response. I thought the purpose of this website was to share stories & information with each other and learn along the way through support. Sorry -- my mistake. Guest guest
Iron from natural foods is OK so you can keep the spinach. The synthetic iron like those in vitamins are said by some to feed cancer...I've only heard that from one source. The important thing to remember is that not all anemia is an iron deficiency....georgiassist@... wrote: Dear Lucilla, I don't know, which is why I asked Sharon to check with her oncologist.
