I got the carrot juice and I am still drinking that but apparently hadn't drank enough yet to bring my red cells up. Thank you for help on that too. Guest guest
Sharon, Just a little tidbit - A friend bought me a book called "Nutritional Healing." In there, it mentioned NOT taking iron - not good for additional iron for breast cancer patients. Vitamin A is mentioned as "recommended" fighting this beast - If you check your bottle of juice, the Vitamin A is incredible in one dose daily (8 oz.). Whenever in doubt, check with your oncologist who will tell you for sure. Regards,

Guest guest
Dear Lucilla, I don't know, which is why I asked Sharon to check with her oncologist. After I had read that, I threw out spinach and multi-vitamins with iron I had just bought. I thought it would make sense before starting chemo to increase my iron..maybe it would help my blood levels. I was shocked when I read it. My oncologist has the same book in his office and now I will have to ask him why when I see him next week. It's really a shame. My objective here wasn't to "offend" you, which obviously I did by your response. I thought the purpose of this website was to share stories & information with each other and learn along the way through support. Sorry -- my mistake. I really feel.........some of us are extra sensitive...myself included....it is such a horrible time for all of us.....
