People living with HIVAIDS have had to overcome fear, uncertainty, stigma, discrimination and sickness. Today, they are rising above these burdens to live healthy, hopeful lives. This dramatic change has come about through new drug treatments as well as compassion and care from others. ART has drastically improved the lives of many. Equally important has been the fight against discrimination and stigma. Together, this partnership of medicine and support has given People Living with HIVAIDS a new lease of life. Let's all come together to celebrate life – healthy and extended life – and work together to assure that treatment and support are available to all. AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the largest non-profit organization for AIDS in the United States. AHF operates 14 medical clinics, reaching out to over 17000 patients with HIVAIDS treatment, testing and counseling services. It conducts more than 13,000 HIV tests and counseling sessions every year. AHF Pharmacies, specializing in HIV medication provides all prescription needs. AHF's Positive Healthcare - California, launched in 1995 is the first AIDS specific managed care program in the United States.
