Guest guest
This is part of a response I got on another thyroid board. Guest guest
Yeah all my allergies (almost year round) are gone now. It's amazing. Guest guest
I don't know about the peppers, but I personally think that tomatos are good for us, considering the good nutrition in them. Yes, I saw that posted on another board, but I just can't handle being told that ALL the foods that I eat are not good for me. So far, every veggie mentioned has been the ones that are good for all of us, nutritionally speaking, and the only way that I like some of these foods is raw. I don't pig out on all these veggies, mainly because I'm not inclined to cook them all the time or to serve them is a smorgasbord. But, I would if they were always available to me. The huge salad bars in one local restaurant is where I like to really get down on probably 7 or 8 different kinds of these veggies, and I sure don't feel bad when I eat them. As a matter of fact, I feel better, all except for celery, then with the fruits, it's the melons and bananas. These are food allergies though. There may be others that I'm recognizing as such, but those I'm sure about. Spinach has a ton of vitamin A and some other good things in it, so I don't feel bad about eating it. If you have had a folic acid anemia, it is good to eat plenty of veggies. There's a lot of it in beans too, but I just can't make myself constantly eat them.
