Guest guest
Thanks, Topper; I've not yet considered anything for " adrenal support " - this whole issue is news to me. I still don't understand how I can have adrenal insufficiency and not be able to lose weight, as weight loss is a primary symptom. I am only 20 - 30 pounds overweight, but they are stubborn pounds! I guess I will see what this latest round of tests says and start from there (again). I understand there are other tests they can run to start to narrow down the causes pituitary/hypothalamus wise - like testing native ACTH levels, TRH test (thyrotropin releasing hormone), CRH test (corticotropin releasing hormone), and ITT (insulin tolerance test). Guest guest
Deb it all depends on which wins the tug of war. If the thyroid wins then you keep the weight. If your adrenals win like mine did then you can't gain and might lose weight.
