Guest guest
Hi, I'm seeing different opinions in the Kefir groups, and thought I'd ask here (didn't see anything relevant via Onbiasu). For probiotic benefit, is it better to consumer kefir on an empty stomach without any other food, or with food? (Lots of people are making smoothies, but that adds in other foods, such as fruits, egg yolks, etc., and to me, this wouldn't seem to count as " empty stomach. " ) Some advise drinking it right before or with a meal, others, on an empty stomach, and I'd like to know if it makes any difference. My second question has to do with kefir tolerance. I have no problem at all with the taste, and have no trouble with any raw milk products. However, I am having some trouble digesting kefir. Given that I don't have any milk problems, should I expect to be able to increase my kefir tolerance over time to the point where I can drink a whole glass of it? Thanks, leih
