Guest guest Posted December 30, 2001 Report Share Posted December 30, 2001 Hi all, It appears that I have got a good handle on my diet, even the holidays didn't pose much of a problem. Cheating with a roll on Christmas Eve and a little stuffing on Christmas day didn't cause much of a problem with my numbers, never going over 7.5 or 135, 2 hours post dinner. I was pleased with myself and my numbers. However, today I realized that I was out of my Light Done Right salad dressing so I used a regular Italian that I had in my fridge, OUCH! two hours post I had 7.7 - no carbs except those from the salad (about 2 right) 2 from the cheese and from the dressing, another 2. I usually get between 5.3-5.5 (95.4-99) with my post lunch readings (I almost always have a julienne type salad with ham or turkey, cheese and sugar free/low carb dressing). So that was my little experiment, no regular salad dressing for me, not worth the rise. I would rather have something more sinful then bad salad dressing if I am going to get a number like that.
