Guest guest
Our hospital has installed new facility-specific codes to bill for our wound VAC treatments being provided. However, we need to attach a price to each of these codes. One code being for " PT NEG PRESSURE WOUND TX < =50 CM " and the other code being " PT NEG PRESSURE WOUND TX > 50 CM " . I have no idea how much each of these procedures should cost and, therefore, I don't know what kind of price we should ask for. Can someone give us a ballpark figure? Thanks! Guest guest
even Medicare has yet to establish pricing/reimbursement for these procedures. I understand that APTA is working with the RUC committee to try to establish a work value for 2006. You might call APTA to see what kind of data they are using. Ellen R.
