It's strange... given a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo... Miracle Whip... choose between Mayo and plain bread... plain bread. Both have soy... and Mayo has twice the calories... so I'm not sure what gets me.. the spices?

Peanut butter.. I'm now a fan of the brand carried by Aldi.... They are a German chain that has hit the US.. you guys should see if they have a store in your town yet. They carry their own brands. And most of the stuff has excellent ingredient lists and so far everything I've tried I have really liked. Receipts are showing that I'm averaging a 30 % savings.

Yes, this isn't exactly on topic.. but the more money you save on food and stuff the more money you have for meds, supplements and docs/labs. It also gives you more leeway to get better choices of foods. For me, the more I save on staples the more I can spend on perishables (fresh fruits and vegies). So that makes it a little bit more pertinent. IMHO.

I'll stop, though... if any one is curious and would like more detail, contact me off list. We've only had one in this town since mid winter, and I've only been there four times... but I'm hooked.. I can not ignore quality bargains.

Listen to your body. If you eat miracle whip and peanut butter (uhm not together) and you feel fine than those are ok. Some people can tolerate more soy than others. Louise - my vote is for Jif. :)

Oh we LOVE Aldi's! They have the best brownie mix. Yummy! But I don't buy it that often because I would be too tempted to eat them.

As for peanut butter I only like Pan! Yumm!!!! I could eat it out of the jar!
