Hello sandypaws5@...,

In reference to your comment:

ð Does the Lasix ever cause itching for you?  That's a

ð problem he has with it...

As Lasix takes the excess fluid off the heart and lungs, and body, it may

make the body a bit dehydrated, causing some dry skin which will cause

itching.

Tootie,

My Dad has the same complaint, as he's on Lasix for congestive heart

failure too. Does the Lasix ever cause itching for you? That's a problem

he has with it...

Sandy

==================================

It's congestive heart failure. I've been going through with this for 5

years now. I'm taking 40 mgs of Lasix (Furosemide) 2 x daily to keep the

fluid off of my heart and lungs. Sure makes for a lot of trips to the

bathroom.

Tootie,

I'm sure you're right... there's a reason you made it through 6 cardiac

arrests. Thanks for asking about my Dad.... he's doing well mentally, but

his biggest problem is with his legs. They've swollen so much that he can

hardly walk and can't wear shoes. The doctor told him he must elevate them,

but he doesn't do it like he should... arthritis makes it painful. He's 82,

though, so he expects the problems and deals with them on a daily basis. He

never seems depressed... always has a book he's reading.

Sandy

I hope your dad

is doing well with his heart condition. I've already had 6 cardiac

arrests

but like I said earlier.God evidently still has something for me to do or

I

wouldn't still be here. All of the doctor's that I go to say that NOBODY

lives through 6 cardiac arrests. Well, I did!

That's what I thought, ...he uses lotion, and it doesn't help

much. The itching is very intense.
