Guest guest
Hi , I hope you find a good obgyn to help you with your fibroid. My fibroids are smaller so I'm sorry I don't know what to recommend for you, but its great you've joined this website because I know other women have had successful procedures for larger fibroids. About the wounds that don't heal...Are you anemic? If so there might be some connection. I would definitely make sure you are journaling these mystery wounds and mention it to your doctor. Take care,
Guest guest
I've really appreciated and benefited from hearing all your stories and am now in the process of finding an ob/gyn in my area who is familiar with and works with both synthetic and natural progesterone. Since my fibroid is large (15-1/2 cm), it's possible the natural progesterone won't be " strong " enough and also that I will not be a candidate for a UAE. I understand there are drugs that shrink the fibroid first so one could have a UAE, but that doesn't seem to always work. Not sure yet what my course of action will be. I can't tell you the relief it's been to hear that all these other symptoms I've been having -- back aches, lethargy, leg pain, frequent urination, not to mention the not 4-, but 6-month pregnancy look, are all due to one cause. I can't wait to begin whatever course of action is ahead of me. Question -- do any of you have these other symptoms -- weird and spontaneous wounds that don't heal??? Ear trouble? In Chinese medicine, the kidneys and ears are related, and this could be from the pressure on the kidneys. Due to reading your posts, I'll be asking about having my kidneys checked as well. Thank you.
Guest guest
Hi , Hadn't thought of that (anemia) causing the wounds not to heal. Good point. Recent blood test showed my iron was a little low, and I recently began taking iron. My bleeding has increased since then, so I'm sure it's a good thinking I'm supplementing. on 3/30/02 10:49 PM, SWilli4608@... at SWilli4608@... wrote: > Hi , > I hope you find a good obgyn to help you with your fibroid.
