Guest guest
" From an erection standpoint, anything that's good for your heart is good for your penis, " says Dr. Mulhall. Too much saturated fat can, over time, clog arteries and, in doing so, prevent an adequate flow of blood from reaching the genital region. This not only interferes with the ability to perform, but also with sexual pleasure. Too little fat, on the other hand, is also bad. " You need fat to produce your hormones, " says *Beverly Whipple*, professor emerita at Rutgers University and president of the World Association for Sexology. " Cholesterol is metabolized in the liver, and you get your testosterone and estrogen, which you need for your sex drive, " she says. Olive oil, salmon and nuts are optimal sources of the " good " kinds of fats--monounsaturated and polyunsaturated. http://www.forbes.com/leadershipinnovation/2006/12/05/leadership-health-sex-lead\ -innovation-cx_tw_1205sex.html HTH. There's not much monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fat in the butter and coconut oil he's using, which are the #2 and #1 most saturated fats on the market respectively. I would think saturated fats would be more metabolizable into cholesterol since they are easier for the body to break down, though a pubmed search for " saturated fat erection " yields no results so apparently it isn't very well studied. > P.S. If at some point decides to add the tag I'll enforce it but until then I'll only be enforcing the POLITICS and RELIGION tags.
