Thank you for your replies. It is a help just to know someone is listening.

Especially someone knowledgeable.

I think intelligent people with an affliction are willing to devote the time

and intensity needed to become experts in that field where even the most

conscientious and open-minded doctors (a rare breed perhaps) do not have

that time until they become specialists at which time they lose the

open-mindedness and become convinced of their infallability. Anyway thanks

again I will definitely stay tuned.

I am fortunate I do not have too many symptoms and hope it stays that way.

We do not have Armour approved in Canada yet, but we do have virtually free

health care and prescription costs are regulated so that is a bonus.

Probably I can get some from Mexico if they will send it a brown paper bag

clearly labeled adult material :)

Regards

Helen

Helen, you gave me a good chuckle. I wonder if we can request the companies to send in 'discreet adult packaging' heheheheheheeheh

For me, being here, is a result of my getting so sick of being sick that I had to find out how to get better. As I learned more about it and found that others were doing the same AND setting up meeting points (like this group) to be able to combine their efforts and to share with those that were just starting on the journey. I just HAD to expand my own efforts. I'd been thinking about doing it for some time but was afraid that it would require too much effort. and I were chatting one night in IM, we'd only known each other, online only, for about 3 weeks. Turned out we were both thinking about it... we had the group set up that same night.... that was January 15, 2003.... I count that as a 'birthday' for me.

The other two groups we have were set up in August and September... and the web site was launched in November, on 's birthday!!! hehehehehehe

This spring, our efforts were awarded a donation from someone else that wanted to help others and chose to do so by helping us. That is how we got our domain name and the hosting service for the web site. That gave and I a lot more freedom and space to expand the site, and boy, have we! It took only a few weeks to revamp things and publish to the new location, we're just about ready to close to old site down, very few hits there anymore as the new site is getting better known. And we have plans for so much more... and the great fantasy of opening up a specialty clinic.

Oh, my... I'm getting soap boxy... sorry... it's just my passion right now... getting out helpful info for others.....

*blush*
