Guest guest
Well we finally had a good campout. We went to the river for the weekend, it was beautiful. Eight of our friends also went with us. We just had a great time just sitting around camp visiting. We went to visit Ken's old homestead of Soadaville population 50, & they were having a blackberry festival and I think all 50 residents were there. What a hoot they were singing and yodeling and had hay rides and some guy was giving bike rides on a funny looking bike he had built. We drove past Ken's old school and then on up to where he had lived. They had 80 acres on top of a hill. Its beautiful. When he lived there the kids all walked home from school, it took them an hour to walk home. Can you imagine that now days. Ken's cousins came down to camp to visit, Steve had just got back from Canada and he brought us some fresh halibut, ling cod, salmon and some moose. I've never had moose before. So everyone that was camping with us is coming over and we are going to cook up all that meat. Jeana

Guest guest
What a wonderful time! All the food sounds good except the Moose. Not sure about that. I have had Buffalo it was a little leaner meat than beef. About the same taste. Well we finally had a good campout. We went to the river for the weekend, it was beautiful.
