Guest guest Posted December 31, 2004 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 , you must live over by me as I have neighbors that pull that same thing with fire works, on the 4th of July and New Years, we live out in the country also but still close enough for the darn things to land in our yard, I always stay up also and watch to make sure that there is no fire. We have a lot of shrubs at the back of the property and it is dry but the weather man said it may rain alittle. I don't know why they aim it our way as they have the same amount of land as we do. One year I went out and yelled at them to point them the other way, of course they didn't hear me and if they did it didn't help any. I am deathly afraid of fire.And am always so relieved when it is raining, I think it did rain last year and felt lucky and then they shot them off the next night?? Also I was raised in Illinois and lived in old farm house also, where it was cold upstairs , and had a pot belly stove, what memories huh.
