I think any food that requires labor (opening pods) must burn up a calorie or two and takes up time, so you feel fuller. Even hubby and kids love 'em. Guest guest
Soy beans (black or green) are different than black beans. I'm OK with some black beans, but I get a much lower glycemic effect from all soy beans, even less from the black soy beans. Oh, I see... didn't know the Eden beans were black " soy " beans. Thanks :-) Sandy
Guest guest
They actually look more gray-purplish, wierd, but tasty. My only experience with soybeans is tofu and soy nuts -- like tofu, but hate soy nuts. However, I've heard that edamame is awfully good, and those are soybeans, aren't they? Oh, I've also sprouted the dry soybeans. Sandy

Guest guest
Vicki, No, I wish we did, but we have a nice health food store that probably carries them, and I just heard that it's expanded in size. I'm anxious to go have a look. Sandy -------------------------------- Yep, they're good...and if you have a Trader Joe's near you, they carry them fresh and frozen too.
