requires labor (opening pods) must burn up a calorie or two and takes up

time, so you feel fuller. Even hubby and kids love 'em.

Soy beans (black or green) are different than black beans. I'm OK with

some

black beans, but I get a much lower glycemic effect from all soy beans,

even

less from the black soy beans.

They actually look more gray-purplish, wierd, but tasty.

My only experience with soybeans is tofu and soy nuts -- like tofu, but

hate soy nuts. However, I've heard that edamame is awfully good, and those

are soybeans, aren't they? Oh, I've also sprouted the dry soybeans.

Yep, they're good...and if you have a Trader Joe's near you, they carry them

fresh and frozen too. Vicki

carries them, and I just heard that it's expanded in size. I'm anxious to

go have a look.
