Guest guest Posted May 19, 2005 Report Share Posted May 19, 2005 Our facility is performing wound vac on outpatients and are not sure if we are billing correctly. The new codes 97605 and 97606 show status indicator " A " in addendum B but are not on the Rehab Fee Schedule. Does anyone know how these codes are being paid? Also can we charge for sharp debridement and wound therapy together? We also have patients who have purchased their supplies through the specialty company - can we perform the procedure with these supplies? Can we separately bill for the dressings when we have to supply them? What about if the patient comes in and we just change the dressing? Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
