<< So, yes I believe one can be in denial and still

know what is truth. >>

I read you loud and clear. I have spent most my life in this condition!

A doctor once asked me " Do you really want to live or do you want to

die? " I had to stop and think, did I really want to live or was I

committing a slow sucicide?

I decided I wanted to live, but I think when I fall off the wagon it is

a type of denial. It is like OK today lets pretend we're not diabetic or

overweight!

The mind is probably the most powerful organ in the body and how we can

fool ourselves is amazing!

--- I have him on low carbs, maybe I should mention the fish oil to

the dr and see if he can take that. I am always afraid to give him

something on my own in case of any problems with any of the

medications. However, I don't suppose fish oil would interfere with

anything. It comes in capsule form I believe. I give him vitamins

without minerals as per dr. I don't want him on anything that will

raise the sugar since we have had such a difficult time getting the

sugar in a normal range and if Niacin raises it then I don't want him

on that either.

I asked three different Doctors and they said fish oil was excellent.

So, I hope the doctor gives you the OK. It is good to check as it might

excellerate some of the meds. I know it might accerlate blood thinners.

---He was taken off the blood thinner so one less to worry about!

Even with the antibiotics he is taking now, he has to skip every

other day taking one of the meds, dijoxin.
