Guest guest
I'm having a kinda ME time day, too. Watching movies and going over what I've already written (my book) and seeing if I can crawl back into the characters and get that sucker moving. I have no idea if I'll ever publish.. but it may still be a good read to share! .... it would be awesome if it became a best seller and funded the clinic!!! hehehehehehe Topper () *the dreamer* On Sun, 22 Aug 2004 14:28:16 -0500 "Feisty\(ThyroFeisty\)" writes: I have been doing some me time with a great book and my creating graphics!Feisty What's everyone up to this quietSunday? Guest guest
Went shopping yesterday, so was exhausted this AM. It didn't help that I stayed up til 3 AM chatting wtih a friend. Rested, slept late. Finally got moving around 2, went to the health food store, and the craft store. Reading my book on hypoglycemia (neat read, and very helpful to me so far actually -- Hypoglycemia for Dummies!), painting some TV trays that Jimmy and I bought last weekend, and making a little jewelry. Been contemplating working up some original designs and hitting ebay, but I'm still testing things on myself. If I can wear it and it doesn't break, that's a pretty good sign you know? Tired again, and since I ate I'm going to rest a bit more. in LA >From: topper2@... >Reply-To: The_Thyroid_Support_Group >To: The_Thyroid_Support_Group >Subject: Re: What's everyone up to this quiet Sunday? >Date: Sun, 22 Aug 2004 15:28:54 -0500 > >I'm having a kinda ME time day, too. Guest guest
I do, and I do. :-) I don't mind being exhausted so much when I actually manage to do stuff you know? When I wake up exhausted and can't get going, that just blows. The TV tray is cute. The jewelry was a bust. LOL I couldn't stick with it for very long, think I may try again. The flea market sounds great, and how nice of your friend to make that offer. :-) Nice ot have friends who try to be accommodating. *hugs* a very tired >From: topper2@... >Reply-To: The_Thyroid_Support_Group >To: The_Thyroid_Support_Group >Subject: Re: What's everyone up to this quiet Sunday? >Date: Sun, 22 Aug 2004 21:08:23 -0500 > >Sounds like you had an interesting day , good for you.... Guest guest
Yes, it has been a quiet Sunday. I spent part of the day painting large wooden beads that I use to make purse handles. Tonight I have this throbbing thing going on in my throat. Does anyone have that?? It is the strangest feeling and this started shortly before they found the autoimmune Thyroid problem. It feels like someone has a hand around my neck. I am in my third day of taking Armour. I decided to cut it in half and in a few days I will go up to the actual dosage of 60mg. The Doctor did not tell me to go slowly, but from reading this board I gather it is wise. I am having palpitations tonight but I know it will take a while for me to adjust to the Armour. Who even thinks about their heart?? Your just sitting down watching TV and all of a sudden your aware that your heart may have forgot to pump one beat and then you feel it playing catch up with the next few beats. I also watched my grand daughter today while her mom went to the movie. It was only for 2 hours. That is about the most I can do. Whew, young kids have energy. http://imageevent.com/dareshe/family?p=8 & n=1 & m=24 & c=4 & l=0 & w=4 & s=0 & z=2 Also watched some C-span... Topper, is your book Fiction or Non Fiction?? sheila What's everyone up to this quietSunday?

Guest guest
It is a surprise the first time your heart rhythm is 'not right' and you suddenly notice it... it's an eerie feeling! You stop taking it for granted. Good idea to cut the dose a bit while you adjust. You may try adding that second half in the early afternoon, the will reduce the T3 in your system at any one time but still allow the T4 to start building up.... When is your next lab scheduled? My book? Science fiction. AND would you believe? Revolves around thyroid? ehehehehehehe Topper () On Sun, 22 Aug 2004 23:30:54 -0500 "Sheila McLaughlin" writes: Yes, it has been a quiet Sunday. Guest guest
Worked the night before and was 10 toes up all morning and into the evening. I've actually MADE myself rest this work week. I can think of more things to do after I get off work in the mornings, which, sometimes, is to my detriment. Of course, all of it is at home, and I don't go into town, except to work, but a couple of times a week. I really need a good weekend trip away, with a change of scenery and something different to do. However, no boyfriends in view, and my friends, for the most part, have moved away, or remarried, etc.......I'm thinking that a good old clothes buying trip would be good for me right now, as I haven't bought anything new to wear on the street (mostly nursing uniforms for this past yr or so) in over a yr. No clothes buying sprees (hehe, mania?), just something to perk up my wardrobe. I like the new blue jeans, tank top, with-a-jacket look this yr (coming around again!), and the soft boots too. Hey, could it be that I am finally beginning to feel better? I used to dress to the T, when off duty, all the time, but you know what thyroid can do to you, plus to the shape also. Forget the shape, I still need to feel good about the way that I look, if noone sees it but me. Sorry to ramble, but that's the mode I'm getting into, for my ME time! I know, the hair dye is not good, but maybe just a touch of red brown auburn and a spiky cut, hehe!! What's everyone up to this quiet Sunday? > I don't think I've ever seen the group this quiet.. I'm hopping it's > cause everyone is feeling good and off enjoying their day!!!! > > Topper () *who's having a movie day*
