Nitrate-free bacon and lunchmeats

The Atkin's program states to avoid nitrates as they are a

carcinogen. I've never worried about nitrates in my bacon as

previously I rarely ate bacon. Since on the Atkin's program though,

I'm eating bacon several times a week. I looked at all the packages

of bacon in my local grocery store and they all were cured with

nitrate. Anyone know some brands that are nitrate-free? Also, where

do they sell nitrate-free bacon? Roxanne

We have a grocery store here called Wellspring that has things like

that. My son used to get natural zero carb hotdogs there. If you don't

have Wellspring, look in the yellow pages for health - grocery stores.
