Guest guest
Melody - - reporting in for the contest & challenge: We did not have a meeting this week - - so no official weigh-in I kept my food journal, exercised by walking 10 miles (2 miles/5 days) - contacted my team members & am herewith fulfilling the challenge - - - GOALS: I want to get five pounds UNDER GOAL - AND STAY THERE!! It took me a long long time to reach my KOPS status, and I have no intention of losing it! And the 3# leeway is just "DANGER ZONE" as far as I'm concerned! I plan to do this as soon as possible, but NO LATER THAN SRD TIME!! I want to graduate at 5# UNDER!! WHY & WHAT'S MY MOTIVATION? I have a big picture (in color) in my head of Willie & Vernie - - they always look so SHARP at SRD, and I WANT TO BE LIKE THEM!! HOW WILL I GET THERE? By following my food plan and eating SENSIBLY!! And by visioning myself as a THIN PERSON!! Something my chapter does that might be of interest: We have FAT BUCKS you earn each week as follows: 2 Fat Bucks for having a loss 1 Fat Buck for having a turtle 1 Fat Buck for keeping a menu sheet 1 Fat Buck for exercising 3 times a week for 30 minutes 1 Fat Buck for being Best Loser of the Week 2 Fat Bucks for being Best Loser of the Month 1 Fat Buck for being KOPS of the week (most under goal) 2 Fat Bucks for being KOPS of the month (most weekly under goal) Our FAT BUCKS are play money that we designed and Xeroxed - - - in $1.00 denominations We collect the FAT BUCKS for a whole year and then have a White Elephant auction using the Fat Bucks we have earned! Our OUTRAGEOUS gifts are wrapped all pretty or put in a pretty gift bag, so you HAVE NO IDEA what you are bidding on! We have some gifts that come back year after year - like a black lace teddy, huge panties and/or bras, ugly characters made out of coconut shells, pictures made out of old potty lids - - some people just come up with all sorts of crazy things! It is just a fun event that everybody looks forward to; we usually have our on the last meeting night of July. And you have to turn in any Fat Bucks you have left at the end of the auction - you can't carry them over to the next year. It's extra work for the weight recorder or awards person to keep up with - but it is a lot of fun!! HAPPY NEW YEAR - - AND ((((HUGS)))) TO EVERYBODY!! Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Jackie, I just made KOPS in May of this year - - and I plan to graduate in San Angelo!!! GOOD LORD WILLIN' AND THE CREEK DON'T RISE!!! I have been a TOPS member for 25 years - - got within 10 pounds and 5 pounds of my goal several times - quit going to meetings for one reason or another, and quickly gained back 25 or 30 pounds - then had to start over!! So another one of my goals is: NEVER, EVER QUIT GOING TO MEETINGS!! And that is the reason for my wanting to get under goal and stay there! I DON'T EVER WANT TO LOSE MY KOPS STATUS NOW THAT I HAVE FINALLY ACHIEVED IT!!! You just don't find the support anywhere else that you find with other TOPS friends. Congrats on 3.5 years as KOPS!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE MY HEROES!! (((((HUGS)))) Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
