Rapid Deterioration

I have been having a slow deterioration of my pf. Then last Thursday I expended more energy at a competition than I should have. By Friday I could hardly breath; after 5 days I still have a very severe cough and little sign of any improvement. Has this happened to anyone else? It seems odd that there should be such a rapid change in the rate of deterioration. I have a doctors appointment on Friday and would like some help as to how to present this to him.

During the course of my disease, the times that I have deteriorated quickly were related to infection and pneumonias. I have learned to keep antibiotic on hand and if I even think it.....I do ABs.

Ann,

Each time I get sick I can directly trace it back to overextending

myself and too much activity. I have found that even when I feel fine

I need to limit what I do each day and some activities ( walking over

3.0, trying on clothes, lifting heavy objects) I skip altogether.

Glad you will be seeing the doctor. Get lots of rest-
