Avoid what? Looks like your message may have gotten sent before you were

finished with it. (My cats do that to me some times.) Well, if you are in

excruciating pain, you need to tell your doctor that and wait until s(he)

does something to help you.

Fibroids do tend to shrink after menopause.

Actually, you joined this group on 12/16/2001 and posted your first email on

12/17/2001. You have

received 3 responses to your 1 post. Care to identify who you really are?

Who is this doctor who would tell you to take progesterone cream too? Not too

many gyns doing that,

that's for sure. In your prior post you indicated you were on HRT and that your

fibroid was 1.53 cm

but was not visible on your last ultrasound. No fibroid on your latest

ultrasound, no menstrual

period for 3 months. Doesn't read like fibroids to me. Perhaps you should

return to your gyne for

more information and further assistance in diagnosis. Given the lack of

fibroids and any other

symptoms, I doubt this group is going to be able to diagnose your excruciating

pain over the

internet. Sorry.
