Dear Jan,

If you are having " gushing " symptoms you REALLY need to see a doctor,

especially if you are already anemic. This is something to take very

seriously.

I sincerely hope you can find a doctor you trust who might be able to work

with your financial situation.

Please take care,

W.

You really need to be evaluated by a doctor. If you are already

anemic, these bleeding episodes you are having could be dangerous.

Yes I guess you are right Carol, though I know she will want to do surgery

and I simply can't afford to do that right now.

Thank you for your message.

Thanks

This seems to be what the couple of messages I have received back are

saying. It's a work problem as I was out of work for 1 1/2 years and have

only been back in the work force since last August. I simply can't take the

time off for surgery until at least the summer, and even then I will only

have a couple of weeks. Being single means I have to completely rely on my

own income which makes it more difficult.

Dear Jan,

I too am single, supporting myself on a low income so I understand. Do you

have any insurance? or disability? I don't want to scare you but it doesn't

sound like you understand the seriousness of your bleeding. If it is as

you've described, it doesn't sound like something that should

wait...especially not until the summer.

I don't know about insurance in Canada...wouldn't your insurance cover

emergency surgery? Mine did, but that was in the U.S. and probably not the

case with all insurance companies.

Dear Jan,

I simply have to respond to your last post! No you cannot live without a pay

check, but more importantly you cannot live without blood either! Also keep

in mind, that the more anemic you are, the more difficult it is for the

doctor to perform surgery without having to give you a blood transfusion.

This happened in my case--had to be transfused 2 times.

I am concerned for you. Please take care of yourself. You will be better off

in the long run if you honor yourself now.
