If he takes me he has to take off work and I'd have to explain why I'm not going to a 'real' doctor and where the money for the labs came from.... long story there... He's the one that thinks I'm not sick, only faking it and making up excuses to get out of doing stuff. So even bringing any of this up with him will start a mess.

I want to wait until my meds and supps are all stable again, and these legs settle down.... I just had to crack open a new bottle of calcium (a different brand/formulation) .

I now have two volunteers that are willing to take me when I'm ready... So I'm feeling much better now about all of that. And, no, one of them is not the one that backed out on me in June!

This may be ego... but ... well.... through all the years that I was hyper I somehow managed to pick the right foods to keep me going, even when I went into storm my body was able to tell me what it needed... until it just couldn't handle it anymore.... and when I was hypo with no meds my body was still able to help me learn what to do... I think I'm doing fairly decent. I not 'afraid' that anything is wrong.. Just curious as h**l to see how my numbers look.

That is why I want to be on the same meds and supps for a full six weeks with no adjustments or substitutions before I go in. To make sure that I see exactly what my body is doing with what I'm taking and not in a state of flux with anything. It hit that perfect spot that first week in June.... Now with my funcky legs I have increased my thyroid by 1/2 grain to try to help my body heal... so I consider that to be 'in flux'....

Will your father not take you at all? If not, why not? How long has it been since you had a blood sugar testing? I don't want to scare you (though I doubt if it will, considering what you've already been through in the past), but you need blood levels of all these things, even if you didn't get levels for the thyroid hormones. I hear the lab calling yoooouuuuuu!! Wish I had the means to get up there and I'd take you, but I'm all the way down here in Texas, so I'm afraid my little Nissan would break down between here and there. I am praying for you a sure way to go, someone that you can trust to do as they say they will.

You know years ago my mom said that when you have cravings for food

it's your body telling you what it needs.
