I think this product has similarities to Thyrtrophin PMG. The

manufacturer also claims that it is thyroxine free. However, this

does not mean it is triiodothyroxine free. Thytrophin PMG contains

the active thyroid hormone triiodothyroxine (T3) which is much

stronger than thyroxine. According to what I could find out about

Thyro Plex it also contians T3 roughly equivelent to 1/4 grain.

http://www.kirlian.org/life_enhancement_products/thyrop~1.htm

" contains glandular thyroid (1/4-grain per serving "

So, if you are seeking to boost your T3 levels, it should be what

you want, but if you are wanting to just add support in the form of

agents your thyroid system can use to make and use thyroid hormone,

you need to be careful with this. This is basically like taking a

little Cytomel and so can raise your overall thyroid dose.

Some people can get by very well with a productlike this. But, if

you are one of those that ends up supressing your pituitary with

small amounts of thyroid, this won't work unless you take a lot and

then you are basically on all T3.
