We used Turbo for 3 years and have finally been able to upgrade to PTOS. I

am still learning how to use PTOS but it appears to be more user friendly.

Turbo seems to fall short in a lot of its functions and they do not make

significant changes to their program to accommodate their users.

I am the owner of a small PT op clinic, with one satellite location. I

am looking for a billing program that allows for remote billing

transmittals, (from the satellite to the main office), a system that is

easy to use to avoid data entry errors. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I am in the preliminary stages of planning to open a

practice. When I start I'd like to try to do the billing myself, without

support or a billing service to learn how to do it (so I can eventually train

someone how to do it) and save a couple bucks in the early stages. Do you think

this is feasible with MedBill Pro. Thanks again,

Jim

Re: Billing software

Have you looked into a software called MedBill Pro? It is an extremely

well written program, windows base and very user friendly. The cost

would depend on haw many users, but I do think it's very reasonable

compared to some of the other packages available. I've used it since

2001 and really like it.

software that is efficient/ user friendly enough for the clinician in a

slow, start-up op practice to use to do billing without any support

staff?

Jim;

Have you checked out Raintree software? They have medical record

documentation, billing, collection, etc. You can buy it or lease it. If you

only plan

on two users, you can't beat the lease price (it's cheaper than purchasing

because of the annual support fees). Their website is:
