Guest guest
Yes, We use Meditech to schedule 30 PT/OT clinicians at three separate locations. It is not the fastest system, but it works pretty well. It is the system that we have to use as it is the system that our hospital uses. Guest guest
We have been using the Meditech Scheduling Module for about 2 1/2 years. Initially, it was much easier to use a book than the module itself due to the number of screens necessary to navigate throughout the system. The more help we were able to get from the company on shortcuts to move through the system, the faster our scheduler has become. There are some days we would like to throw it out again, but overall, it seems to work. Please write with any specific questions. Guest guest
Marti, We use the meditech scheduling module. We do not have any problems with it. We only have 5 therapists though. You can pull a lot of data from it. Re: Meditech Scheduling We have looked into using the Meditech module for scheduling in the rehab dept since just about everything else we do is in the Meditech system. We found it too cumbersome due to the complicated dynamics of managing a schedule with a dozen clinicians and caseloads of recurring patients. The Meditech module appears suitable if you're dealing with one time visits such as in Lab or Radiology (where they are using the Meditech scheduling system) and initially setting up a recurring patient appears straightforward in the Meditech system but as soon as those recurring patients want to modify their established appointment (i.e. come in at a different time on a particular day)and you multilply this situation numerous times (many clinicians)the system becomes unbearable, at least the last version that I examined. If you find a version that works for you, please let me know so that I can revisit the issue. Currently we're using the SpectraSoft program to handle our needs.
