Guest guest
Hi I live in Australia and I found out on Monday that my Mum has breast cancer. I'm still in a state of shock! I don't know what to think or feel?! Is this normal? I'm only 22 and my Mum is 45.
Guest guest
Hi, Welcome to the group. I am sorry to hear about your Mum. I was 44 when diagnosed and had 3 children that were 22, 23 and 24. What you are feeling is normal. Its sometimes just as hard for the family/caregiver as it is the patient. My husband was used to fixing things for me. If I had a headache he got me aspirin, if I got cut a bandaid etc. This was something he couldn't fix. Feel free to post and ask questions and also see if your Mum would like to join us. You are both in my prayers.
